Some folks build material riches, some might say Robert and Mira were poor, but look around you. What more riches can a man have than his wife of 50 yrs, children, spouses, grandchildren, relatives and friends? Clearly he and Mira were some of the richest people in the world.
I was attending a cub scout bridging ceremony with Richard my son the Saturday of pops death, the arrow of light is a special award only given to scouts who have fulfilled the requirements and can be worn as a boy scout. For the ceremony, they have a special arrow, which flames up as the ceremony begins. At that moment when the arrow flamed up, I believe he passed away, he always said he wanted to go out with a big bang.
Grandchildren, study hard, learn and keep your faith, Grandpa’s watching. All the children and foster children of Robert, be kinder to each other and take care of your mother, that’s his wish. Mira, you were pops angel, time for a rest, now he and Edward are going to watch out for you.
One last quote Tempus Fugit, Memento Mori – Time Fly’s, Remember Death, I believe Pop would add to that “Omnia Vincit Amor, Nos ET Cedamus Amori”. Love conquers all things, let us too yield to love.
